🌸 From Germany, and through Instagram — A Spring Ritual That Connects Hearts 🌸

Commemorative Photo with Our Guests from Germany

Hello everyone,

On Wednesday, March 26th at 6:00 p.m., we were able to successfully hold the Spring Grand Festival at Kuwano Shrine. In addition to the local parishioners and worshippers from the Nomurajima district, a young couple from Germany staying at the inn “Moritoya” in Johana, Nanto City, also joined us for the ceremony.

In addition, two Instagrammers who have been supporting Kuwano Shrine since the New Year kindly made time to visit us after work, despite their busy schedules.

It brought us great joy and gratitude to see such a diverse group of people gathered together, united in spirit before the deity during the ceremony. After the prayer ritual, a dedicatory performance of Ecchu Isami Daiko was held, and the powerful rhythms echoed through the shrine grounds, creating a truly memorable moment. After the ceremony, we enjoyed a delightful conversation with the couple from Germany using a translation app,

and wrapped up the celebration by taking a group commemorative photo together.
The chance to welcome the deity while forging connections across countries and generations is a joy we will truly cherish. To be honest, at the end of last year, we never imagined a day would come when we could share a festival with such a diverse group of worshippers. It was, without a doubt, a truly happy and special moment.
